There’s No Such Thing As “I Can’t”

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

If there is something you want to do, try it! You will never know if you can or cannot do something if you don’t try first.

Be optimistic but realistic. If you believe in something, follow your heart. Don’t give up.

Nothing is handed to you on a silver platter, you must work to achieve your best. It may not bring you success or wealth but if it brings you happiness, all is good.

I was taught never to let anyone tell me “you can’t”. Above all, this is the best advice I’ve ever received.

Perhaps my way of doing something may be different from another person’s way but if I can figure out a way to do something I want, I will do it. It may mean needing someone to help me due to my disabilities but it doesn’t mean I can’t do it. For safety reasons of course there are things I can’t do such as ride a roller-coaster. But realistic goals CAN be achieved.
