About Me
I am a Disabled woman who is active in advocacy for Disabled people, a writer and academic of theology.
I am Deaf since birth. I was born with Juvenile onset Stills Disease / SJIA (Systematic Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis). At the age of 9, I had a sports accident which left me an incomplete quadriplegic.
I have studied theology for over 30 years, published several (out of print) books and I’m currently writing a book based on my most recent PhD dissertation about Accessibility for Disabled People in the Church.
I am an Orthodox Christian.
I hold 12 earned degrees in Deaf Education, Jewish studies and Jewish Law as well as PhDs in Theology, Biblical Studies, Pastoral Counselling and Humanities.
I’m passionate about sharing my life experience as a Disabled and Orthodox Christian person.
