How is it possible that in 2023, our world has gone backwards? Progressive thinking, positive change, equal rights should be the elements that rule the world. Book banning, news bans, fascist governments, denial of rights to woman, children, LGBTQ, immigrants, refusal of accountability for governments, etc, etc.
How is this happening in 2023?
And the world we live in today has done just this.
I really try to avoid political posts but this world is disintegrating.
Have we forgotten the basis of the Holocaust, the genocides that have occurred around the world, the Cold War?
Why is all this being permitted? Why did no one stand up for the Ukraine when Russia invaded them? Why are we seeing such disarray in 2023? Why are countries staying “neutral”? What has happened to the US to allow so many discrimination laws to be put into effect?
We’ve seen aboriginal communities targeted, people of colour, LGBTQ and so many more. Who is next? Disabled people?
