Little Time, Lots to Do

I really don’t have much leisure time. My days are filled with training Bobby, my service dog in training.

I like to unwind as we all do. I turn to indicate colouring books and my gel pens.

I love working on miniatures. I am currently, albeit slowly, working on a 1:60 scale Orthodox Church from scratch. The details are time consuming but I’m looking forward to the finished project.

I have several others, 1:60 and 1:72 scale miniatures to build. One is a castle, another is a small home and the third will become an accessible home as it has a ramp entrance. I look forward to building the wheelchair and all the things necessary to make it a fully accessible dream home. It’s going to be a challenge as the finished product will only be 3″ (width) x7″ (length) x5″ (height).

Then there is my large 10 room house in 1:12 scale. It was made for me in 1980. I’ve stripped it to the outer shell only and rebuilding it completely. I’ve search with no results to find out what kit it may have been. I’ve come up empty handed all these years of trying to find it. It’s not important what kit, but it would be neat to find out.

I managed to take apart the original doorframe and rebuilt it. Very time consuming but when it is finished, I’m sure it will be beautiful.
