My life is nothing like I pictured a year ago.

My faith has grown. I’m a better person now than I was last year.

I have changed in so many ways and I feel an incredible peace.

I never imagined that this would be my last year with Dayton but I give thanks for the blessing of having him so long with me. He fought a hard battle with Addison’s Disease. It ultimately took his life but that little boy fought every day for the past 8 years and I’m so grateful for every blessed day I had him with me.

Last year at this time I found out I was going to become a grandma for the second time. I never imagined that there would be two little girls who are the light of my life.

I’ve seen my daughter go through so much and to see how strong she has become, makes me so proud of her.

I’ve seen my best friend go through so much the past few years and this year I have seen so much peace in her life.

I have many things to be thankful for over the past year and all the blessings that have been part of this year.

I give thanks to God for all His blessings.
