How do you manage screen time for yourself?
I work from home and the majority of my time is spent in front of my computer doing research and writing.
My computer goes on around noon, after my PSW has left. I take 20 minute breaks every hour.
I take time to go for walks with my Standard Poodle at supper time and other times that he needs to go out.
Then I’m back on my computer until my PSW arrives at 7pm. After she leaves at 9pm, I’m back with it again until about 11.
I generally fall asleep while reading a book on Logos Bible Software on my tablet, that is related to my current studies or just of interest.
If I don’t fall asleep with that, I’ve got my Kobo and I fall asleep reading.
I know, bad habits but I can’t turn off my brain when I’m researching and writing so my second best thing is just to make sure I take regular breaks.
I generally don’t end up reading more than a few pages on my tablet before I’m out like a light so I guess it’s relaxing to me as well.
So I’m screen free while I sleep between 12:30am/3am depending how tired I am until the time my PSW gets me out of bed in the morning.
