One of the greatest challenges in this world is the variety of faiths and beliefs that other people don’t know or understand.
I think the world would be more understanding and bring people together if we all shared our beliefs with others.
When we share our beliefs with others without the intention of “converting” them to our faith, we open up dialogue between people.
For myself as an Orthodox Christian, I meet many people who have either never heard of the Orthodox faith or have misconceptions of who we are.
We are often viewed by others as ethnic communities but that’s not what Orthodoxy is all about.
In the spirit of sharing my faith, I’m including some links to help others understand who we are and our basic beliefs. For many years our faith was not widely shared to the Western world. It was “hidden” define the Iron Curtain.
The Orthodox Church has been in existence since the days of the Apostles and it was the only Church in existence for several hundred years.
