My dream is to one day visit Israel, the Holy Land.

Before my Dad passed away, he told me to go to Israel, it was something both my Mum and I wanted me to do.

Israel is not the most accessible place in the world for someone who uses a wheelchair.

Since covid, I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to travel outside of my country. I cannot be vaccinated because I have SJIA and vaccinations are dangerous for me.

My dream will live on and maybe some day it will come true. I have friends in Israel whom I would love to visit.

I would love to visit the holy sites in Israel.

To be able to touch the Western Wall, to visit the churches that honour my Saviour. To see the places I’ve learned so much about from the Bible.

I would love to visit France. To meet in person my pen pal. She is an inspiration to me and to see her in person would be a dream come true.

I’d like to return to the United States to visit my best friend of 31 years. The last time we were together in person was 2004 but we’ve never lost touch. Our friendship has just gotten stronger over the years.

I would love to spend time in the Smithsonian. I minimally visited there when I was at Gallaudet University. How I dream of spending days at the Smithsonian and learning everything that it has to offer.

My dreams may never come true but if at least one could come true, it would be the most joyous celebration in my life.
