Life is a journey, each person's journey is unique.

Having it All

Having it all means faith, family, friends and love. Something that can be attained by everyone.

I’m not a person who is interested in riches, fame or money. They do not complete a person. A person comes into this world with nothing and leaves this world with nothing in regards to material things.

I feel the greatest blessings in life come from knowing who you are, embracing the moment and cherishing the gifts that have been given to you.

Most people have faith in something. My faith is in God and I cherish everything I’ve been given. My gifts, my talents and my disabilities which have influenced my life.

My family and friends man the world to me. Friends can become family as you grow older and your primary family passes on. The network that is built by friends to live and support each other is strong.

All of these culminate in love. The first person to love is yourself. Accept who you are, embrace it. Love those who are your family (by blood, adoption and mutual friendship).

It’s taken a long time for me to love myself and understand that I am the most important person to me. I cannot fully love others if I do not love myself. I cannot support them in love without loving who I am first.

Some people may feel this is pride. I know I did until I learnt that living oneself makes you stronger.

With love of oneself comes acceptance. Anger cannot thrive when you love yourself. Hopeless feelings cannot thrive when you love yourself.

Joy cannot thrive when you don’t love yourself. Happiness cannot thrive when you don’t love yourself.

Embracing every gift in life, including the gift of life is the greatest thing in the world.

All of these are attainable when a person learns the tools to handle things that come their way.

I’m not talking about some type of utopia. Just a sense of peace.

When a person experiences peace in their life, each day can be tackled. There will always be “up” and “down” days but learning how to handle them will help make life so much easier. Much more peaceful.

Some people think that having the best job, the most money will bring them happiness. If they don’t love themselves first and those who support them in times of need, all the money in the world will not make them happy.

I hope that each person who reads this can learn how to live themselves and those in their family circle. I promise, you will experience a greater appreciation of life.

You will feel true happiness and advertising of yourself and those around you

Never take anything for granted. Life is fleeting. People will pass away. Jobs and money can disappear.

But stand strong and you will attain the love and happiness that will enrich your life.
